HA Home Care serves Greater Los Angeles, including the San Fernando Valley (Simi Valley, Porter Ranch, Valencia), the South Bay (Manhattan Beach), the Westside (Beverly Hills, Westwood), the coast from Malibu to Newport Beach, and Irvine. Medicare covers home health care when you are homebound (leaving home requires a taxing, considerable effort), skilled nursing or therapy services are medically necessary on an intermittent or part-time basis, and you remain under a physician's care. We bill Medicare directly for eligible services. These guidelines don't guarantee payment for every service — for detailed coverage information, review your individual policy or ask our office.
Medi-Cal covers limited home health services when hands-on skilled care is provided, you are homebound, and the care is medically necessary. Our office can help verify your specific eligibility.
Coverage depends on your specific carrier and individual policy. Pre-authorization is usually required, and our office staff will help coordinate this with your insurance before care begins.

HA Home Care is not an emergency care facility. In a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. For non-emergency questions about your care, our office is available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a Registered Nurse on-call after hours, on weekends, and on holidays.
As a home care patient, you have the right to receive safe, professional care without discrimination; to participate in decisions about your treatment plan; to be treated with respect, dignity, and privacy; and to voice concerns or complaints to the agency without fear of reprisal. A full statement of patient rights and responsibilities is provided at the start of care.
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Outside of those hours, on weekends, and on holidays, you can leave a message with our answering service, and a Registered Nurse on-call will get back to you as soon as possible.
