Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

HA Home Care is hiring compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to provide hands-on personal care for patients in their own homes, working under the direction of a Registered Nurse. If you take pride in treating patients with dignity and comfort, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care: bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing assistance
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as needed
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as ordered
• Keep the patient's living area clean, safe, and orderly
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the assigned nurse

Requirements

• Current CHHA certification (or completion of an approved training and competency program)
• At least 18 years of age
• Current CPR certification
• Licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to patient dignity
